Rob from Gillingsmoor is building some of the most authentic 50s spec tele pickups out there! He has gone down the 50’s Tele pickup rabbit hole and studied the real thing for many years….and what he’s made as a result is breathtaking!
(You won’t find any marketing about Rob Bond or Gillingsmoor because he’s an old school genius) he is more interested in sound than selling…. So I’m championing him here and selling his pickups! Rob has been repairing vintage guitars for many years and services and sets up all our guitars. He has also built me 2 guitars (the only ones I’ll never sell)!
My friend Matt Edwards (session player) came to try them out in my 57 Rob built clone and left with a set.
We compared them to 2 other teles with what most would consider the worlds best pickups and the difference was very real.
